how often are hotels repeated?

Iam really interested in Caesar Augustus in Capri and wondered if anyone knew how often this hotel comes up for auction? I have been checking over the past 10 days but no sign of it coming up for auction. I wondered if this was one of those which doesn't come up very often?

I think we are all learning that if you see a package you think you'll probably want - grab it then! You never know when the package will be back up. I, for one, am still kicking myself for missing out on a recent Morgan's Rock, Nicaragua package. There was even a "Buy Now" option available at the same time as the auction package that I was mulling over but it disappeared as soon as the auction closed. We've seen the same with the wonderful Orient Express Peru packages - just as everyone was raving about them, away they went, never to return again....

Hopefully you'll see the Capri package you want return soon to LL. Go ahead and grab it if it works out for you.....good luck!

GRAB IT WHEN YOU SEE IT so you won't have regrets. I second the Orient Express Package that I missed out on also. (Plus, it was appearing often...not just once!!!)

We hope to see the Snake River Lodge and Spa in Jackson Hole, WY come back online for this spring or next fall. We won a package to that great spot, just right around the corner (literally) from Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park, and enjoyed it so much that we want to return. That package (hotel, breakfasts, spa treatments and one dinner) was offered many times last winter and spring. We hope it can return, if not for the ski season, for spring. Cheers...Marolyn

Can you give me more info on Carpe Diem? I remember last year,I got a call to say I had won a holiday to Tenerife...blah, blah, blah............... Anyway, to cut a long story short, it turned out that it was some type of con, which was like some kind of time-share thing which included us sitting through one of those presentations which go on for hours and they try to brainwash you into parting with your money. Needless to say, we gave it a miss. it turned out that it was from a company called Carpe Diem!!!!I cannot see the connection though with that and bidding on Caesar Augustus. Are they similar to Luxury Link? Is it the same company as the Carpe Diem who said we had won a free holiday? Do you have the website where i could get more info?

Carpe Diem is Latin for "sieze the day". I was not aware of a shady timeshare company with the same name!

Having taken Latin for four years in high school (many years ago), I found the whole Carpe diem conversation very funny. Mary, don't feel so dumb. It's an amazing coincidence that the bogus tour company was named Carpe diem and the phrase came up in a posting.
