I've never seen anything like it. Have you?
The Levante Parliament, Vienna, Austria
I've never seen beds like these. Has anyone slept in them?

I've napped on these kinds of very densely woven, one piece rattan beds in Spas only (they are actually quite comfortable) ... but not inhotel room... the photo looks like it might be in a bathroom or spa area... if it's a bedroom, there isn't enough fluff and puff for me!

When you click on the picture to display it bigger, it says "beautifully appointed accommodation". I assumed these were the rooms because of that comment. *shrugs*

Sounds like we might need an active LL community member guinea pig to go over and test it out

That's not a bed....its just a lounge for beside a pool or in a spa.

Thanks for the post imbues, and I tend to agree with others that this is in a spa or pool area.
This reminds me of my stay at Evason Hideaway in Vietnam. When we were given our tour of the two-story beach villa, we began downstairs in the huge open-air bathroom, then went upstairs to what I assumed was our bedroom/kitchen area. There was a huge daybed up there, bigger than a king-sized bed, covered in mosquito net. I was all ready to relax and call it a day up there! Somehow I didn't notice the other door downstairs leading to the actual (gorgeous) bedroom with a four-poster bed and access to the plunge pool. In retrospect I was happy for the gorgeous real bed but I honestly could have been happy sleeping on that comfortable-looking upstairs "day" bed! That's what I call "exceeding expectations"...

Hi Imbues
I looked up the auction page you mentioned, and then looked up the hotel website. The picture you have pointed out is definitely the spa area. The hotel accommodations shown on the site are very beautifully furnished, and look very comfortable.

To the LL community -
Your attention to detail is well noted! The photo in question does in fact picture the rest room, which is part of the Leisure & Gym amenities that The Levante Parliament offers to its guests.
Take a look back at the portfolio page for updated captions:

Hi,
These rattan beds are all the rage in the newly refurbished spas in Europe. You usually find them in the spa's resting and relaxation room. They are quite comfortable. And if the spa is really considerate, they will offer blankets for you to rest and relax in their rest/relaxation room after a massage or sauna or steam bath.
