Jamaican honeymoon...rockhouse or Couples Swept Away?
My fiance and I have basically narrowed down or choices for the honeymoon to either the Rockhouse or Couples Swept Away. Anyone stayed at either? The all inclusive CSA is about $1300 more than just the accommodation at the Rockhouse. Are the three meals a day plus drinks really worth $1300? Are there any other suggestions anyone would make for the Caribbean along the same price range of under $4000 for flights from RDU and 5 nights 6 days??? We also have looked at The Caves. Really like the look and the reviews. Their package deal runs around $3100 for 5 nights and includes a few meals and activities.
Hope to make a decision soon! Please help

As it is your honeymoon I personally would go with The Caves. I have not been personally but have been considering it and have done a lot of research on it. Have you checked out the reviews on "trip advisor"? all the reviews are excellent. Couples Swept Away would be nice too, especially the verandah rooms as I like how they have the large verandah with the rocking chairs on them. They look really nice on their website. The only thing that slightly puts me off these rooms is that they do not have glass on the windows, only shutters, so there is an occasional problem with insects. For somewhere unique though, it has to be The Caves. Another consideration could be one of the Sandals Resorts and they have all been updated recently so you know they will be nice. When we were at a few of the Sandals Resorts over the past couple of yearsthey were starting to look a little run-down, but now they will be looking great. when you are at the ones in Jamaica, you can go to the other Sandals Resorts and use their facilities and restaurants so you have plenty of choice. Hope you find what you are looking for and good luck.

Jamaican Honeymoon ....AHHHHH...... My suggestion would be Tyrall in Montego Bay- these are private homes with pools overlooking the golf course and ocean - all come with a cook, maid, laundress, and gardener. Meals are prepared to your specifications using the freshest ingredients. YUM Tryall also has hotel type accomodations with swim up pool etc. We prefer single accomodations rather than all inclusives which - in our opinion - seem to be more crowded and allow for less spontinaety. We like to experience the location - get away from the hotel and eat local food at various restaurants. Sometimes we grab supplies from fruit markets or grocery and picnic. It seems the cost you mentioned would not be worth it for all inclusive. Have a wonderful honeymoon and CONGRATULATIONS ...Funtimes
