We have a three night, three breakfast, one dinner for two with wine package at the Hotel Savoy in Florence.
It expires on April 30th and we can't use it.
Paid $1350, will accept any reasonable offer.

When I enquired about a forth night they quoted 900 euros plus 40 euros for breakfast so this is an amazing deal!

Hi mlutzmann, Maybe you can contact them and ask if they would give you credit for a stay during the next low season, or something.

I would suggest contacting the Hotel Savoy in Florence and ask them if they would be kind enough to extend your package six months to a year from the expiration date and give them a good reason why you cannot use the package before the expiration date. The Savoy Hotel in Florence has been on the LL circuit for a long time and they might be happy to extend the package for you. I have had a couple of incidents where we could not make the deadline, and each time the hotel most graciously extended the package to the time we were able to go there. As long as you can pick a date with the hotel that is'nt their high season or busiest time of the year, I am sure you can get the package extended.
An alternative would be to contact LL customer service, Nancy Taylor at their 800 toll free number and see if Nancy can help to get the package extended.Here is the info:

Thank you both for the advice. As luck would have it, I emailed the Savoy just yesterday, explained my problem and asked if they knew of a worthy charity in Italy that I could donate it to.
Without even being asked, they extended the package to August 31, 2008 with blackout of May 1 - July 5. I'm extremely impressed with their customer service.
Unfortunately, we still won't get there in time but this does give me more time to find a buyer.

mlutzmann....if you are not successful in selling the package privately, as you approach the extended deadline, ask the Hotel Savoy for additional time. As they move into the Fall, Winter and early Spring, they have fewer visitors (I prefer to visit during those times....lots fewer tourists and who travels to Florence for the weather....it's all about the sights) and they may likely give you another extension.....they want the business and the extra revenue you will bring to them as a guest!
I want it but I just am very busy and fully booked for almost the end of the year. I have lots of business meetings to attend to. I really wish I could.
Hi, you might inquire if you can post about it on the slow travel discussion board. They have a lot more European posters that may be interested in this package for a weekend or an add on to there plans.
