I mentioned in one of my previous posts that there were 6,000 rooms available to 150,000 people who had registered for the promotion. Assuming that everyone was trying to get two nights, which was the maximum allowed, then each applicant had a 2% chance of getting a room for two nights. Not great odds, but worth a shot. Leading Hotels of the World certainly got a lot of publicity from their promotion, and you know what they say about publicity. Even bad publicity is good.
