every time I click on this banner ad which appears at the top of many LL pages, I am directed to the discussion page for the United States. Is this a paid advertising from the State of Florida? If so, what is the purpose, to generate a discussion of places to visit in Florida?

I think that it's just a computer glitch. Luxury Link probably intended to take site visitors to the Florida page instead of the United States page.

Nope, no glitch. It's a LuxuryLink.com ad, that's simply asking if people want to talk/read about Florida. It directs you to the United States board because we don't have a specific Florida message board.

katie, I was doubting the glitch theory. Guess we need to fire up some comments on Florida so your advertiser can get a return on their LL investment!
