Hi everyone
Are there any memorable places you have visited through an LL package that you would purchase again, but is no longer available? Which properties would you like to see return at auction?

This is a good question, but even for those of us who regularly watch the auctions it is difficult to tell if a certain property is gone for good or only not being offered for a few weeks or months...only to reappear.

My question was geared to someonewho has bought & experienced a great vacation though LL. Sometimes we get back home, and the experience was so fabulous you seroiusly think of going back. I am trying to get a list of properties to encourage LL to get some properties that were at auction, and now arenolonger available. Has there been an auction that you have purchased with LL, and enjoyed so much that you would go back to.
I have used the LL package to Punta Islita numerous times but that is still available. We also used Morgans Rock. That is also available. I keep watching for some of the Peru packages. I also keep watching for Peter Island which shows once in awhile. Hoping to find more Central America properties that might be a little more out of the way. The concern there is that a lot of the "boutique" style properties popping up in those countries are small. Not sure if they would want to be involved in auctions? I think it would be a good idea to introduce travellers to these lesser known destinations.
Hi Bonniejoy03
Therewas a package that we bought a couple of years ago thatI willbe grateful for, for a long time. Relais Santa Croce in Florence, is my favorite address in the center of the city. If it would not have been for that package on LLI don't think we would even know about it. It would be my wish to see that property back at auction. If there are any LL Moderators listening, this place was pure luxury, please try to get them back on board.

Hello,
I haven't experienced it myself (yet) but please bring back Windstar cruises! I only recently found out that they used to be available through LL, and I'd always wanted to do one of their cruises.
Cheers,
Julian
1. Turtle Island in Fiji a few years ago - I am not sure if this is still on offer. It was lovely, and LL managed to get a great discount 2. The Orient Express Safaris in Botswana - wonderful location, lovely people, great food and of course, the proximity of the animals! 3. Andels Suites in Prague. It was a lovely hotel, very conveniently located and the inclusive package was very good value. BDS
Hi Two2go,
I remember the Relais Santa Croce from the time we were in Florence a couple of years ago. We stuck our head into the Lobby and it looked great. Unfortunately, I have not seen it available for some time now. We are staying at the Hotel dela Ville this upcoming March. I understand the Hotel dela Ville is quite nice too and very centrally located. Dealing with the Reservation staff, they were certainly most friendly and efficient.
The very first package I ever tried to bid for was for the Burgh al Arab in Dubai some years ago, and I did not succeed.Interestingly the bids actually exceeded the retail cost of the package - I have never seen that happen again!Since then I have not seen it featured
Hi L & bdsouza
I tried to look up the hotel you are staying at in Florenceon LL, but can't find it.Can it be it is not up for auction any longer, or am I missing it.I'll take the time, and look it up elsewhere. Wanted to take a look to see where it was situated. I'm sure that it's going to be perfect, you really can't go wrong with LL.bdsouza it's the first time that I hear of a package that went over the retail prices at auction. That must be one great property if someone wanted it that bad. Have you ever stay at that property in the past.
