LL Property Representative - Reviews of LL Properties

Hi LL Moderators,

I am curious how LL evaluates the properties before they are put into LL portfolio for auction, best buy, etc. Does LL send out representatives to check out these properties? Is there a possibilities for LL Community Members to participate in this procedure. I am thinking if a Community member is traveling to France for instance and LL is thinking of reviewing a new a property in France, could this review be carried out by a Trusted Member? If so, sign me up for it! I would love to participate in such a venture. It would save LL the air fare, and the Member would get let's say a 3 day free stay out of it - looks to me like this could be a win-win situation.
By the way I see a lot of LL Editors commenting on LL properties in the blog sections - what are the perks, if any, for these LL Editors??? Perhaps a LL Moderator or LL Editor could shed some light on this. Thank you.

Yes, that would be a good idea for the members to give their review of a property which L.L was thinking of adding to their portfolio. I would really enjoy doing it too. It would be interesting to hear how L.L. review the properties and how they decide if a property is good enough to make the L.L. portfolio, e.g. what criteria needs tobe met. Of all the propertiesI have been interested in and checked out, they certainly sound as though they are all of a very high standard. Has anyone ever been disappointed by a property after staying there?

Speaking of LL Moderators we haven't seen any recent posts from them lately. They are probably off on some luxurious holiday vactions this time of year. I wonder if they are trying out some of the new properties for 2007 ???

You must mean the same person in the Customer Service? Will she also take your suggestions for new properties? Wrote to her a while back but haven't had any reply from her lately... she maybe on holiday...? Do you have any idea of how extensive the LL office in LA is?

lhb...yes, the same person. She does travel for LL business now and then. I've never asked about the size of the LL staff but I do know where the office located....very close to LAX. I was in LA on a briefbusiness trip two weeks ago and had intended to stop by their office, but time got away from me and I had to catch a flight. I fully intend to visit their office.

Yes she is excellent in what she does. She sure keeps on top of things. She must be traveling at the moment, because I am still waiting for an e-mail from her.

7.....I think the LL staff is just observing the LL Community Member interaction at this point.I thinkthis exercise is still in the beta stage, so why try to steer it's direction?

Now you are talking.There has been too much IM like talk on this site since they opened up the community to win things. It is getting out of hand. Why speak up if you really have nothing to say? Give the LL team some space. It looks like people are posting just to appear knowledgeable and increase their number of postings. Why not keep the talk to the properties or at least relevant topics? Does it have to be all about the winning and what you get?
