I'm treating my parents for a nice vacation in Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, they love to go but they wanted to know if there are nearby convenient stores or shopping malls there. Can you help me with this?

there are several in the area. the concierge are great at the hotel and will help them out.
the hotel is nice, not a ritz more like a marriott, ask for the 4th floor and eat at the hotel only if $ is not an issue.
again, the concierge has some great rec. for restruants
