Great article, but I don't understand why the stewardesses need a tag identifying their sex. The two "women" in the picture sure look like women to me.

Do you think that AirTran will be the first domestic airline to follow PC Airlines' lead?

PC Air, new airline in Thailand, claims to be first to hire transsexual flight attendants

Can't imagine a need to use PC Airlines in the near future. However, the whole idea of promoting the other sex, is the amount of exposure the company has generated. Appears to have worked for them.

You also have to realize it is an Asian airline - I can not see an American or European airline doing this
