Lufthansa Pilots Strike
Lufthansa pilots and the Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) union will participate in a four-day strike from Monday, February 22 to Thursday, February 25. Passengers who have booked flights during this time can contact 1-800-645-3880 (1-800-563-5954 in Canada) for information regarding re-bookings or cancellations. If the purpose of the trip no longer applies at a later date, Lufthansa will annul the flight booking for free, but travelers interested in traveling to and from the same destinations before March 31, 2010 can reschedule their flight free of charge. This applies to purchases made before February 18 for flights between February 22 and 25, 2010.
