LL_Moderators....what has happened with the LuxeLife section? Your total numbers and selection of items have decreased dramatically. Most of the items nowdisplayed are "Buy Now." During the Summer and Fall of 2006, you had a much larger variety of items and most of them were "Bid Now" auctions. I have been very pleased with the items previously purchased and was fortunate to secure them at very favorable pricing. Are there plans to expand your offerings again? Will more items beavailable for "Bid Now" auctions?

You are right there are less items listed. It seems strange because I'm sure with LL's reputation theyshould beable to secure more luxuryitems

LL_Moderator_jh...that's good news! I guess most of your LuxeLife activity is designed to target your North American clients, with shipping, and customs issues for members outside the US, while your travel products are really targeted to members all overthe world. Certainly, LuxeLife should be a great showcase andlaunching pad for the latest in electronics, digital and video cameras and GPS gadgets.

.....what a great deal, if GPS navigation technologyis one of your things! We just snagged a Garmin nuvi 670 off of LuxeLife for roughly 64% of the best price we could find anywhere on the Internet....and we've been searching for some time! The nuvi 670 isperfect forus, since it come pre-loaded with North American and a substantial number of European countries.....we look forward to using it on our upcoming LL packages in Prague and Italy!

O - is that just a GPS? We would be interested in a digital camera definitely - hard to believe we don't have one yet - any suggestions? ...Funtimes

funtimes....the Garmin nuvi 670 is a lotmore than a GPS!What's important to us is the "portability" of the system with North American and European mapping (the maps are 2D and 3D...we used a friend's670 in Paris last year and loved it).....we hate driving and walking around with printed maps trying to locate destinations (just makes you a bigger target for potential problems). Bluetooth, MP3 and downloading recorded books are features we may never use. As for digital cameras, we purchased two Nikons from LL last year....great prices (we always do some serious compartive shopping).

About a week ago I posed a similar question about Luxe Life under the category of "Tips for Using LL" about the absence of the Design items. The LL editors gave a quick and thorough reply that the items had not recieved enough attention and bidding to merit keeping at this time. Hopefully, as the site grows, this category might return. LL_Moderator_ks &Community Members...the Garmin nuvi 670 arrived today.....what a fabulous piece of technology and what a great buythrough LuxeLife....will spend the next few weeks learning how to use it...can't wait to try in out on our upcoming LL European trip!
