Luxury Link vs Andrew Harper Auctions
If there are any other Andrew Harper members in this community, have you compared their travel auction offerings https://harpernet.andrewharper.com/A...s/Default.aspx to those of Luxury Link?

Very interesting. Is there still a fee to become a member? Any other perks for joining? Years and years ago, they gave a free 30 day membership. Never found anything...

My neighbor is a member of Andrew Harper and he swears by their property selections and swoons over their well written reviews. Since he still receives the 'printed' information rather than paperless, he often passes the material along to us.
There is an annual membership fee....I don't recall the amount.
I did look at the on-line auction offering for Titlaka in Lago Titicaca, Peru. We purchased two Luxury Link packages at this property a couple of years back. The current bid price for a similar package with Andrew Harper is slightly less than the final bid price we made at Luxury Link (however, we used VIP Certs on both packages...so our deals were much better).
The Luxury Link packages offered a couple of additional perks, not included with the Andrew Harper package.
We're sticking with Luxury Link as long as they continue to offer destinations and packages which meet our objectives.

One thing that looks good about them - their expiration dates. Many have long expiration/availability dates - until Dec 2013. And a couple others have availability dates until Feb or March of 2014. One has an expiration date of September of 2015!
Life is too short.........travel now!

10-01-2012, 10:26 AMOK, call me tight or cheap, but I can't see coughing up between $195 and $350 a year to join Andrew Harper. Could be a good deal, if I did participate in their auctions and managed to get one of them at the lowest price.
No risk, no reward.
I'll stick with Luxury Link as well.

I am with you jsattapr2. Some of the packages looked good, but the high membership fee dissuaded me. LL is good enough for me.

What's stopping you?
Go ahead and critique away. The rest of in here do right here in the lounge/community.
Oh wait, are you saying you would like to visit properties being offered by Luxury Link and get paid for doing that?
There's a long line ahead of you to fill those positions and I'm up close to the front of the line!
