Re: Mohawk Mountain House
Thanks thepiranha, I am terrible at spelling and just copied and pasted the name after the first time posted. I've now corrected it. I miss understood his point, but he was too busy insulting me to be kind.
Thank you everyone except you know who.

I think that Naslux is being a little harsh on you, Imbues. Reading all of the posts concerning the Mohonk House, it's pretty obvious that you made a typo or weren't paying attention when you typed the name. There's no reason for someone to accuse someone of lying unless someone says something that's blatantly untrue. I think that if you were going to lie, you'd find something more important to lie about or something that you could gain by lying. Besides, I looked up your earliest posts and on August 17, 2007, you specifically state that you live in the Hudson Valley. That's not something that people usually make up.
I'm a relatively new Luxury Link member and I've been very impressed with the informative posts and the civility displayed in these postings. Let's keep it that way.

Hey, no problem. After reading the previous posts, it was pretty obvious to me that you made a typo or simply misspelled the word. Don't let the earlier post bother you.

Re: Mohawk Mountain House
Hi Imbues, hi Naslux,
Imbues, you did the right thing, correcting the offending typo in your initial post. Mohawk and Mohonk, the two names sound similar and are easy to mix up, after all, we do have the Mohawk Valley (NY) and the Mohawk River in our neck of the woods named after the Mohawk Indians, even, if geographically correct, the Mohonk House lies in the Shawangunk Mountain Range. We were talking about New York. I was however surprised to learn that the Mohawk Mountaines lie in Arizona, and that there was another Mohawk Valley in Arizona. Who would have thought it. Naslux, you did quite a bit of work on this to prove your point, and I commend you for it, but there are many ways to do so without sounding condescending. This is a friendly community, let's keep it that way. Hope you will stick around and share some of your travel experiences and wisdom with us.
