I am here on my last day at the most wonderful place on earth. This eco setting is extraordinary. The food, beach, people are just extraordinary. This morning more than a dozen howling monkeys were outside our lodge enjoying their breakfast.dont hesitate to take this trip.

Hi amosell, thank you so much for the on-site review! You are echoing the sentiments of a VIP contributer, bonniejoy, who has just posted a glowing review in her blog. I'll ask you the same thing I asked her: is there surfing at Morgan's Rock? Are you seeing any surfer's around? I know Nicaragua has some of the best surfing in the world, just wanted to know if that particular resort would be a good place to stay for a luxurious, relaxing, nature-filled surf trip.
Also, did you fly directly to Nicaragua or go through Costa Rica?
Thanks for your help!

Re: Morgan´s rock, Nicaragua
Amosell. HELLO! We were just at MR last month and also last year. Don't you love it! Question for you: While visiting in mid-January, the turtles were laying their eggs on the beach. Many of them were due to hatch about now. Did you have an opportunity to see the baby turtles? I have never seen this but would have loved this. We did watch a turtle lay her eggs. Also, were you able to visit the school they sponsor?
Thanks for the email. Enjoy the rest of your stay.
PS-Don't you just love the bungalows? We were in #14 last year (with my husband in an air cast!). This year we were in #3. GREAT LOCATION! Enjoy the coffee, Tonia beer, MR cashew pancakes, and MR salad for me. I can only wish until we go next year.
