My kind of places to visit (TripAdvisor's 10 fantastically colorful places)

Since I enjoy photography, I enjoy going to very colorful, photogenic places. TripAdvisor published this list of "10 fantastically colorful places". How many have you been to? Are there other colorful places that you recommend?

I've been to three (San Francisco many times, Guanajuato and Varanasi), four if you count going to Venice as going to Burano .

Some cool choices. I don't understand SF--one photo of Chinatown--the only one that's particularly colorful. Seattle has a lot more "color" even when the weather is somewhat dismal in winter. Heck--there's more color @ Pike Place Market!
I've been to 2, 4, 8 and 9. Looking forward to Osaka next month or Feb and hoping the bright neon will warm me up! (not)

What about Guatemala - very colorful especially the Mayans in their local dress. Puebla, Mexico was also nice. I have not been to any of these places

I've been to a couple of these places. I agree Denise, Guatemala is very colorful and should be on this list.....just think of the Chichi market!

Also, Valparaiso, Chile. Check out my photos in the Photo Gallery. It was great walking around Valpo because every time I turned a corner, there was more art and color. Very photogenic city!
