NEW MEMBER CHIMING IN ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICES AT LUXURY LINK
I just joined Luxury Link two weeks ago. I was a little confused about the website, so I called the central number at Luxury Link and had an extremely informative conversation with a customer service rep that lasted over 23 minutes. She answered all of my questions, some of which were probably pretty stupid, and was extremely patient with me. I'm looking forward to bidding on a lot of packages over the years and drooling over the ones that I would like to purchase but can't because of other commitments.

Welcome aboard, thepiranha! Yes, LL's customer service is extremely helpful, and many of us who have been LL patrons for years have been the beneficiaries of their great service as well as the tons of useful information and insight from the community members. We look forward to seeing your comments, and good luck on bidding on and winning those special LL packages!

Thanks for the welcome note. I'm looking forward to years of browsing and bidding. It's a little difficult right now since we have two teenagers and almost all of the packages are for two, but that will change in a few years (the teenagers in the house, not the packages). By the way, how did you get to become a VIP Contributor?

that's great to hear! It makes me want to call them right now!
I haven't tried calling them yet as we're still browsing for packages (so hard to choose!!!!) but I look forward to talking to their customer service representatives and getting the same or even better treatment as you did. Thanks for sharing!

Good to know that LL has a very good customer service unlike most customer service center who'll put you on hold after they say their name.
Anyway, since you're looking for great deals here (all deals here are great, actually), I urge you to join their latest contest, you can win a trip to the destination of your choice. I already joined in, though i'm not that lucky when it comes to contests but then, summer's coming so a trip would be really nice!

Thanks for the welcome. Luxury Link seems like a great website with a very friendly and knowledgeable community. Thanks for the tip on the contest, but I'm one of those guys who enters every contest there is, so I've already entered. What a cool prize! Have you purchased any packages on the website and, if so, did you have good experiences?

Welcome piranadave ...although you sound really nice! ...funny name... We love LL We've been fortunate enought to travel to Tortola, Tuscany and Umbria (fabulous - our own Villa in Tuscany) (room with a large livingroom and huge terrace in Umbria), Canada and we are looking forward to London and an Austrian spa, Antigua and Jamaica all yet this year!!! Yeah!!! Enjoy You'll find no better properties than LL and I agree the customer service is outstanding - Nancy, Kayla and Jim have all been extremely helpful to me Happy Travels ...Fumtimes

That's great to hear! I've had to call once or twice before as well to LL for things that didn't go exaclty as planned. They do always tend to be professional and capable; an anomoly for an on-line site. I'm glad you posted as I'm sure people newer to the site appreciate hearing this sort of feedback.

Yes, we have been a member for several years and bought many packages and they are always very accomodating and friendly. It has been a very easy relationship and we continue to plan trips. We are doing a whole Italy trip through LL

I'd also mention, if you have teenagers, there are a few packages where you are getting 2 queen beds. Not sure if you're ok with all taking 1 room. There are also a few that have two bedrooms.
