New Referral Reward Program
What about a reward program for providing referral clients to LuxuryLink? Many companies offer an incentive to existing clients for referring new customers. LuxuryLink could benefit greatly by developing a regular flow of name and email addressed from existing satisfied clients. I already tell my friends and business associates about the great deals on LLhowever, if I had a LuxuryLink Incentive Account, which recorded credits for me, every time one of my referral friends or associates "purchased" a package, you can bet I would be even more inclined to recommend LL as well as follow up with my contacts to see how they are doing. This would mean assigning each of use members a unique account number and some additional data keeping by LL, but I cant think of a better form of advertising and credibilitythan word of mouth from happy clients.
Anyone have an opinion or thoughts on the subject?

Re: Referral Reward Program
Yes that would be a good idea if L.L. started something like that. I myself have been telling all my friends and work colleagues about L.L. and those who I have spoke to have been impressed at some of the prices these auctions are selling at. As yet, no-one has bid on anauction but I expect a few will soon. I think they are a little apprehensive at the moment about buying a holiday over the internet, but once they hear about all the people who have bought and are very pleased with their purchases and also the many clients who buy regularly from L.L. they are going to be more confident that it is O.K to go ahead and bid. I think that word of mouth is one of the best ways of advertising and if there is an incentive for us to recommend L.L. to our friends then everyone is going to come out as winners in the end. As you said, once the person has gone on and actually bought through L.L. then we would receive our incentive bonus. It could be in the form of a voucher to spend on a future auction or something along those lines.

Re: Referral Reward Program
mary-j....exactly! If LL considers instituting a referral program, it should be devised in such a fashion as to ensure that it is a "Win-Win" program.....when LL benefits by gaining a new client (not just a new additional to their email data base, the those of us who have referred the new buying member would be compensated.mary-j wrote:

Re: Referral Reward Program
I Agree!! It seems that I am always sending property information to friend. Is there an easy way to keep track of that? A rewards program based on referals would be wonderful!

Re: Referral Reward Program
O, I think this is a great idea and you're right most websites have referral programs for regular customers. I would seem to think that LL would have no problem rolling this out seeing how well they have gotten all of us together here on the LL community through an incentivized program.
BTW I was actually refered to this website by a co-worker who read about LL in a magazine. Hopefully he'll get his referral reward in the future !

7....BTW....my wife pointed out LL in a USAToday article three or four years back.....I was extremely suspect at first....I even thought they were trying to scam me on the first couple of auctions we tried to bid on. I was wrong!enewseven wrote:

I have referred them several "buyers"....I know that to be a fact, since three different couples have traveled with us on LL trips.....and one of my business associates just bought a Nikon.

Re: Referral Reward Program
O,That's a good idea booking trips with friends through LL, as long as you don't wind up bidding against them if only one package is being offered at a time...
The deal on the Nikon is excellent, I'm looking for a new camera and have checked out that auction a few time, but I think I'm going to wait tillLL offers a video camera which is on the top of my list (too bad there's no auction request function yet). Also check out those ear phones (Ultimate Ears). I could not believe they offered these. I have that exact pair, and got them a year ago (for $250 !)and they're great (especially for theLL price$160 !).

i inquired about this one time before and didn't get any feedback from them. I would imagine it would require that they give everyone an account # not just a log on otherwise how would they know who to give credit to. I don't believe they would be very responsive to this.

Re: Referral Reward Program
Perhaps this may be accomplished through everyone's email registration (user name) and some type of referral email or link that we can send to our friends and will directly link us to their registration and get us the due credit upon their completion of purchase.

Re: Referral Reward Program
daldoc....I assume (correctly or incorrectly)LL "purchasers" already have a unique code assigned tous (not disclosed to us, but assigned for internal tracking, etc.). As such, if I am correct, it should be relatively easy to write a tracking program which will allow me to incorporate that into a referral form. If and when, someone I refer, using that form which has my tracking code already embedded, should "buy" a travel package or LuxeLife merchandise, then "credit" would be assigned to my account. Of course, some of my referrals may never result in a sale by LL.....in which cases, I get no credit. LL wants as many visitors (whether they buy or not) as possible.....those numbers impress existing and potential advertisers.....additionally, LL wants to develop as many "buyers" as possible, since that is what fuels the growth of new properties.....and more properties translate toincreased opportunities for LL Members such as you and me! I'm not sure this is a good idea, but I appreciate you and other members giving your thoughts.daldoc wrote:
