The Next Luxury Link VIP Event

When areadditional details going to be released regarding the first VIP Event at The Pierre in New York City? Has the date be finalized? By the way, what does "Invitation" actually include? Are VIPs going to be accomodated at The Pierre by LL? What about transportation...perhaps an allowance? So far, the only details I have seen on the web site are:

VIP community members will be invited to all Luxury Link events, like the upcoming reception and dinner at The Pierre in New York City

I was wondering about this as well, I think it would be great to meet all my fellow VIP contributors ! Of course, The Pierre is a few blocks from me but I'd imagine everyone else would have some traveling to do

VIP7....on the other hand, maybe we should wear masks at the VIP Event and keep our true identities a secret. As for your walk to The Pierre.....rumors have it that the next VIP Event may be held in Asia!

mary-j.....there's also another rumor that LL may be checking into the availability of Necker Island, in which case you wouldn't mind traveling those few extra blocks....right?

What! That would be wonderful! Is there any truth to this? Where did you hear this? We have been in the vicinity quite often but never have received an "invitation". My dream! I am heading to those parts in September. Should I wait to book my air...hehehaha......

How wonderful that certainly would be. Necker island is a resort I have dreamt about but in reality newI would only ever get to experience it if we won the lottery!! Now if L.L. managed to feature it, then maybe, and that is a big "maybe", we might have a better chance of affording it. Is this just a rumour or do you think there is a real chance that L.L. will feature it? Failing that, maybe we should ALL get together and rent the island out for us all-!! now that would be the perfect place for all us contributors to meet each other!!

I like the way you're thinking!!! WOW Necker island - I hope that I haven't gone too crazy purchasing LL auctions already, with news like this I would hate to fill up my "dance card" travel time and budget

Bonniejoy3, mary-j, funtimesNeckerIsland..well, Im dreaming just like each of you. But dreams can come true! In our case, we didnt even dream there would something like the LL Community, a few weeks ago. We were pleased with the good fortune of finding the LL web site and being able to place the winning bids in the auctions we have purchased. We are pleased to view the comments and observations of other Members and learn about their travels. Where ever the future VIP Events are held, we hope to qualify, hope to attend..and meet Members and staff.

Necker Island would be awesome! But being that it is not in "The Portfolio" I would be very surprised if LL would host a party at a non-LL partner. Unless...they used this as an opportunity to "launch" Necker Island as a new LL member which would be a nice touch. Unfortunately I am only speculating with zero information about any VIP events.
