This VIP has had no special E-mails from LL about the event at the Pierre in NY. Had one recently about the new VIP Blogs, but that's it.

Did LL give you any indication as to what month this event will be held???? Would love to go to the Pierre in NYC but won't be back in the US till early July... So let me know if you have any further info as to what time of year this event will be held.

LL-Travelfan....no indication, other than datechanges were being made (whatever that means, since none of us (at least myself)knew the other dates). I didn't press the question further. I'm sure we will be advised when the plans are finalized. LL_Moderators appear to have stepped up the communications as well as other changes are being madeto the infastructure of the community.

Thanks for the info - I feel it's hard to get direct feedback from LL Moderators. I don't have the impression that LL_Moderators have stepped up the communications..... I have two messages out to LL Moderators, one questioning the new VIP announcement and their color designation and the other about reporting abuse on the Paris blog, but no replies have been forthcoming.... I guess, they are busy, working hard on the new infrastructure to the LL community...

Hey, LL-Travler and Omegaet, the LL_Moderators have been very good about responding to me. I just received a private mail from LL_Moderator_ks about a suggestion I had made. Guess what,he or sheliked my suggestion and took care of the changes right away. Any look at me----I'm not even a VIP Contributor like you guys. Thank you.

Hi Mountie,

Good for you, you must have done something right, because from the looks of it, and the LL Editor announcement below, you seem to be one of the new VIP Contributors, even so they have not marked you so yet, you still figure as Regular Contributor, but note the color designation your name shows. I don't know what the rational behind this is, as at the time your color designation changed, you had contributed just over 50 posts.
As you can see from my post to the LL Editor, I asked for an explanation of the new color designation but have not had any response from LL Editor so far. Again, some of us are luckier than others to get responses... as I said, good for you, and more power to you, keep up the good work....

Hi Montie,
Four new VIP Contributors just got announced and unfortunately you are not among them. LL still hasn't said anything about the color change, but it must be the new color for Regular Contributors. Well, keep up the good work...
