02-09-2011, 06:01 AMI actually thought the list wasn’t that bad. Although you probably wouldn’t find me going to Kosovo or Kurdistan, and I doubt I would go to Durham unless forced, sometimes places surprise you. I had a friend go to Syria last year and found it amazing.
I think my toppers would be Zanzibar, Thailand, and Chile. I’m going to Budapest in a couple of weeks :-) Can’t wait!

I think very few people will be rushing off to Egypt, or Tunisia for that matter, at the moment.....

copahc--are you staying at any of the LL properties? We did the St. George once, the Hilton and Kempinksy (BEST!!) were company stays. Hope you don't skip the Terror Museum.
PS--The hop on-off bus is a really good one."wherever you go, there you are"

02-10-2011, 01:51 AMKyshel - I am staying at the St. George and I booked it on Luxurylink. How did you like it there? Was the room nice, and the food? Did you have any problems? It will be my first time in Budapest and I’m very excited. I’m only going for the weekend however, it was just an add-on to a business trip in Holland.

02-10-2011, 11:39 PMJust what I was thinking. WE're going to Syria in March and it's on a lot of the must do list in the UK over the last few years.
Thanks for posting, I missed this in the Times.
I didn't quite get this list trying too hard to be different, 41 destinations in the world and London and manchester both make it!??
Tallin is highly recommended, we stayed at the Hotel Telegraaf through LL. We went in December a few years ago and had a lovely time.
