OK Travel Pros - Who Has Done It?
As life long co-suffers of motion sickness, we have never allowed the malady to hinder our aerial adventures (pass the scopolamine - please)......the Airship Eureka (a zeppelin) has arrived in South Florida and will be offering rides to the public (we could have bought a 3 night stay on LL for the cost of their ticket). We've been aboard blimps before, but this will be our first time on a zeppelin!
Of course, we purchased passage for Sunday morning (we'll pop a pill and catch the first lift off scheduled for 7:00am):

Anyone else taken a ride on a zeppelin?- Ω -

. What did you like most about it?

copahc...most people do associate zeppelins with the unfortunate Hindenburg incident. Modern zeppelins no longer use hydrogen but rather are filled with helium, which of course, is non flammable.
The zeppelin is a very smooth flight platform and the modern and spacious passenger (seating for 12 plus two crew members) gondola offers exceptional visibility.
f.y.i.....Goodyear has ordered three similar zeppelin airships from the same German company to replace their existing blimps over the next two years.- Ω -

Not sure why you'd be worried about motion sickness in a zeppelin. From everything I've read, the ride should have been equivalent to a blimp ride. After all, what's the worst thing that can happen?

Actually the zepplin ride was quite smooth....much more so than blimp rides we have taken.
And the worst thing that can usually happen is vomit....not a terminal condition, but not something I care to do in public, especially in confined conditions, such as the gondola.- Ω -
