That is one of the problems with longer Mystery Auctions. Some bidders jack up the price unnecessarily and then loose interest and move on to something else. The real bidding usually occurs in the last 5 minutes before and after the closing time of the Mystery Auction. Unfortunately, those who are bidding in $100, $200 or higher increments in a $1 Mystery Auction, when the auction still has 5 days to go, don't understand the idea behind these Mystery Auctions. At that rate, no-one wins a great deal. It takes just $1 to take the auction away from the highest bidder.....
