I bought a package at 2550 $ and it says the value is 7500 $
when i check the price of the suite, its 360 euros /night, means for 5 nights : +/- 2600 $
I cant understand the value of the package, the difference isnt worth for one lunch, one diner and so on...
Anyone has an idea??

Hi Frenchy - I think you have a valid question. Where did you find the price of the suite? I think that Luxury Link probably calculates "total value" from the standard room rate, which is almost always the highest possible rate (meaning, depending on the time of year and where you are buying, you can almost always find a lower rate somewhere). If there are low season and high season rates, Luxury Link would surely calculate using high season rates if the package could be used during that time. Then, of course, there are all of the included incidentals: VAT, taxes, meals, transfers if included, tours if included, spa services if included. That can really add up.

If you give us the specifics of the package perhaps we in the community can help you figure this out. Although it sounds like it's quite possible you could piece together the package yourself by going outside Luxury Link for much less than the "Package Value Price" it also sounds like you got yourself a good deal anyway since you paid less than the room rate and have the extras such as meals included.

thank you so much for your answer I found the price of the suite on the hotel website via LuxuryLink and its correct that I choose to go in april (price 360 euros) and that the price for may or june would have been 550 euros. The package is in Grand Hotel Villa Medici in Firenze. I am still surprised by the value at 7500$....

Another factor is taxes, if the package includes tax than it can be several hundred dollars savings.

I agree with u if its a package in USA, but in Europe, prices are given taxes included then when its written on the hotel website 350 /night its taxes included...
