Pick a Package
Okay, it's January, and chances are it's cold and dreary wherewe alllive, and we're all ready to get out and do something fun and totally different from our everyday lives. So let's all dream and play a game:
You have an opportunity to win your choice of two existing LL packages... but you have to list the packages and why you should win these!
I'll go first...
I pick the Pacific Delight Tours, 16 day classic China and Yangtze River Gold Exclusive Tour and the Cheli & Peackock Shaba National Reserve & MasaiMara 9 day tour.
My oldest child is graduating from college. She was able to earn enough money through talent scholarships that over 50% of her tuition was paid for... which made going to the conservatory possible. Tokeep her scholarship, she had to study hard and maintain a 3.5 GPA and participate in the work/study program. Because of this, she was not able to "fool around" as much during her college days, so I'd like to reward her with a fantastic trip to someplace totally outrageous... and a trip to China/sailing down the Yangtze River or an African Safari tour would be just the right ticket!
Plus, I'd have to be the one who went with her... and I deserve it because I spent the last 4 years listening to her whine and complain about her hectic and intense schedule!!!!

Re: Pick a Package
Great question. Luxury Link offers a lot of great packages and I would give serious thought to the Great River Journey. The trip is a river boat ride begins in Whitehorse and ends in Dawson City, a total of 373 miles down the Yukon River. Accommodations are in small private lodges and all meals are provided. The scenery is spectacular and there is great bird watching and photography. There are opportunities for float plane rides and I would definitely do some salmon fishing. We would also do some canoeing and kayaking. Trips are limited to ten participants, so travelers get a lot of individual attention. Since it would be too cold to take this trip at this time of year, so I would do it in the summer. I'd love to hear from anyone who has taken this trip.

I like Nukubati Island in Fiji for a different trip. Never have been there but it looks great and the package looks super! Also, if I had to stay closer to home, I would pick Guana Island or Peter Island. Have stayed at Peter Island in the past and LOVED IT!

If I had to pick two packages and why...hmmmm.....
Well, my first pick would be the Zamani Zanzibar Kempinski because my boyfriend and I have been promising each other that we would go on a vacation together for the past year and a half-and we still haven't gone-I think the Zamani would be the perfect balance of relaxing beachy vacation (great for the first three days) and exciting once the relaxation sets in and we feel like doing a bit of discovery.
My second pick for totally amazing trip would be the Ker and Downey Cape to Cairo trip....if I had all the money in the world to spend on an amazing trip-this looks like one that I would love to take by myself and just muse over the immensity of the continent and architecture in Egypt!
