Question about using gift certificates

I was going to delete my credit card info from my account, so I can us my gift certificate. Thankfully, it was a card that expired because it looks like I can't delete the information. It seems strange that I can't delete old credit card information.

Can any of you still delete your credit card info from your account?

yes--I did it when I bought our last package for Bali. Since I've been bidding for several other auctions, I'm glad I did. I've also been linking thru skymilesshopping.com with LL to earn frequent flier miles. Now, if everyone would stop bidding against me...
