Re-auctioning trips?

My boyfriend and I bought a trip in December. Unfortunately, our schedules won't allow us to take the trip this year. Is it possible to re-auction the trip? Any other suggestions?

knuthma, many people who decide not to use the trips they have purchased through luxury link just offer them for sale in this community. Why not list the detailedinformation, including the price which you are prepared to accept, regarding your trip here and see if there are any members who might wish to buy it directly from you?

Another suggestion might be to contact the hotel directly and explain your situation. Ask the hotel, if they would be willing to let you use the package you have auctioned through Luxury Link, on the dates you would be able to use the package, even though, the package technically has expired. Quite often, the hotels are more than willing to accommodate special requests. You might try this route, if you can't re-sell it on LL.

Like the two above said, yuo can try contacting the hotel to negotiate the date or sell the trip to another person. Try to contact LL staff too to see if they can help with the negotiations.
