A growing number ofsophisticated travelers are catching on to the enchantment of seeing Europe and other fantastic destinations in an intimatelyclose manner.[/i][/b][/i]
Cruisingcarries a delectable variety of connotations in todays market and whetheryour thoughts incite carefree or overboard, you might want to reconsider. Agrowing world of river cruising has redefined the industry, and offerslaid-back luxury and a truly unique experience. Most enticing though is thefact that so much of Europe and otherwell-traveled regions have an amazing inner sanctum to offer that only riverscan access. In order to fully appreciate the nooks & crannies of a country, take a journey along the worlds best waterways.
Travelingon smaller ships is one of most prominent features of river cruising; thiscreates not only a more intimate atmosphere, but also a heightened level of personal service and easy access to luxuryamenities[/b]. Because your sail along a river is constantly picturesque andchanging, you can actively participate in seeing the most any area has to offer all from the comfort of a lovely veranda. Best of all, the cities, ports, restaurants, shopping and local people are all mere steps away. River cruisesare able to dock in the very heart of the towns and places that you will loveto explore, which is unique from the capabilities of larger oceanliners.
JulieMautner from American Airlines American Way[/i]notes the virtuoso of potential opportunities in Europe.Nearly every corner of the continent has navigable rivers and a selection ofships, which continue to grow increasingly comfortable and luxurious. Thesituation is truly opportune in that despite the relative weakness of the dollarto the euro, river cruising actually offers considerable value and worth.Given the difficult exchange rate, aEuropean river cruise bought in U.S. dollars is one of the years bestvalues for a European vacation[/b], advises senior editor Susan Young of Travel Agent Magazine[/i].
LuxuryLink suggests further enhancing the value of a river cruise through our own uniquepackages and offerings. More river cruising options and voyages will bemaking their way onto Luxury Link in the future, so make sure to capture yourchance on this mounting and exciting trend!

Please also add to this the cruising on our Mississippi and Ohio rivers. The Majestic Cruise lines have paddleboat trips that are really great. I think the boat moves around 7 miles per hour! We sent my father (85 years old) alone in May and he had a great time. Great food, activities, people, and staff. He was so happy that he is going again on another route in August. From what he said, this trip would appeal to any age group and for someone who really wanted to relax.
