A different curatorial approach to Monet's work: The exhibition explores his talent and role as a draftsman with 80 works on paper. Monet did not like to admit his talent in these techniques - pastel, black chalk and pencil - which he nevertheless used throughout his career. Oh, here's another one I'd love to see! Let's hope they send this exhibit on tour to the US. I saw a similar treatment of Rembrandt's works (focusing on his etchings) at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston a couple of years ago.
