Significant Price Decrease

Well, this is amusing! Banyan Tree Bangkok Suite package has gone DOWN about 30% since I bought it in October. HUH? Same dates, perks--exact same deal. My auction (only bidder) was $526 and now it's starting at $378 ARGH
To make matters worse, the hotel didn't have availability, so we changed plans and went thru Singapore (for lots more $) Double ARGH.
So, now it seems we'll be going after the package validity BUT hotel has graciously granted us an extension for a few months. (Bet there will be a new package later, too!--hope so!)

No luck with any adjustment (as I expected) Not really a big issue. More like a gentle self-inflicted headbanging...
I'm tempted to buy 3 more nts with a VIP GC, even tho we only planned to spend only 4 total in the city. Might do 3 on each end of undecided portion of the trip. Our flights arrive late and depart early--it's sounding smarter and smarter. We usually use Starwood points for those "shortened stays) because the Royal Orchid Sheraton is a great hotel right on the river. I do not prefer trying to decide!

It's a bummer when things like that happen.... the only thing you can do is get over it.... but from my own experience, I know what you feel....

This looks like a great price, almost too low for that property. Could it be a mistake?

I doubt it's a mistake--it's already been thru the Concierge dept.

That is surprising! I've only seen the prices go up. I guess one never knows what the future holds.....and what the forces of supply and demand may produce.

We have had our Greece price go down (and up). I believe this is due to the euro. Mine was a timing issue. Your difference looks toooooooooooo big to be a currency issue. Did you call LL???? My two Greek packages to the same place are different prices.
