06-21-2011, 03:04 AM[email protected], I don't mind your ranting. It's probably a good thing for you to get these matters off your chest and what better place than right here in the community.
I don't mind if you smoke, just as long as you don't do it in my homes or my vehicles.
I don't mind if many, most or everyone over eats and suffers from the consequences associated with obesity.
I don't mind if people drink excessive amounts of alcohol, soda or Red Bull.
Let me sum it up. I don't care what other people do with their lives, just as long as what they do has no direct effect on my life.
What I really don't need is a government telling me how to run my life.
So, getting back to the main topic of this thread, it is absurd for the Dutch to tell the locals it's OK to get get high at the coffee house, but not foreign tourists.
of course, this is just my opinion and I could be wrong.

I agree - boy we (I) sure did go off on a tangent.
Just tired of the government intuding too much or not enough - makes me just want to go to a scheduled island somewhere and live my life like a castaway!
