Re: St. Kitts and Nevis
I have never been there but I have heard great things about Nevis. Nevis is a smaller island. Our friends stay at Nisbet and just love the location and service. St. Kitts is more populated and a cruise ship stop. I think Nevis would be a great get away if you are looking for a less "touristy" place. I also see that LL has a great auction to Montpelier. Looks good!

We really enjoyed St Kitts and Nevis. Nevis is less populated and touristy as Bonneyjoy mentioned. We stayed at the Ocean Terrace Inn on St Kitts - very nice accomodations with balconies Ours was a corner room so we had 2 balconies. We really enjoyed overlooking St Kitts harbour and the other balcony overlooked the pool and ocean view also. Their waterfront dining room served excellent grilled seafood and one evening they had the largest steel drum band perform that we had ever seen. Great Fun! St Kitts has a rainforest It is a nice drive to the Batik shop where demonstrations of Batik dyeing process are ongoing. It is an easy Ferry ride to Nevis. There we stayed at Nisbet and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accomodations are wonderful, staff is attentive and friendly. They beach party is a must with a wonderful band! We loved having dinner on the beach - they will arrange this for you It was romantic at sunset. It is easy to get around Nevis by rental car. The sugar plantation ruins are interesting, beautiful beaches and mountainous routes await you. I would suggest taking the catamaran snorkel trip. Sunshine reggae beach bar was entertaining too. Enjoy ...Funtimes

oops me again I forgot to mention that we dined at Montpelier and this property is amazing I don't think you can go wrong with LL's package The property is in the hills a bit, but they offer a shuttle to their private beach. Their pool looked very nice. The food was wonderful You can even reserve a private dining room in the widmill of an old plantation. This resort is built upon the ruins of an old sugar plantation so the architecture is interesting. The botanical gardens are directly across the street. Happy travels ...Funtimes

St. Kitts & Nevis is not like other islands, it's like a lush tropical paradise. The place is very luxuriant and it is just very beautiful place. Lots of activities to do like hiking, fishing, snorkeling and a lot more. I do recommend this place.
