Unusual Offering Details
Has anyone seen slightly odd features/items included in LL packages?
I came across this one recently:
"Pet fish in your room, upon request""wherever you go, there you are"

kyshel, there are several hotels who offer the personal gold fish service delivered to your room upon request. On a slightly different note, I sometime stay at the Fairmont Copley Plaza when on business in Boston. As an animal lover, I always look forward to seeing and receiving a warm, wet greeting from Catie whenever I check in. She is a wonderful black Labrador retriever and I try to schedule a walk with her when herschedule is open:

If I had been in Boston today, I would have enjoyed attending the her birthday party:
Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel - Catie Copley Birthday Party and Holiday Book Reading
On Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 2:00 p.m., the Fairmont Copley Plaza and The Fairmont Store will host a birthday party for its canine ambassador, Catie Copley. There will be a reading of Catie Copley by Deborah Kovacs, author of the book inspired by the real-life adventures of the hotels resident pooch. The reading and birthday cake (for humans) will be followed by a book signing where Catie will give paw-tographs. The reading is free and open to the public. Guests who attend this reading will be able to pre-order the upcoming Catie Copley on the Road, a book about Caties newest adventure which is due out February 2009.
For more information, please call (617) 267-5300.

Hi J...OH my goodness...that is WONDERFUL!! That's the type of place I like! Without going into too much detail, at Cotton House, they have a "visiting" pup, Star. Star seems to take a liking to some guests and will spend the ENTIRE stay with those guests....We have heard that some guests request Star for their week. Unfortunately, Star chooses you, and definitely not the other way around!
As I previous posted, the Fairmont in DC is so pet friendly. Bonnie Joy loved her visit and was treated like a visiting movie star!!
