Unusual WebAir
I just came across www.vayama.com
Most interesting destinations/fares.
Found business class RT JFK/BKK for less than $2500 total--here's the kicker--Via Kiev on Aerosvit, Ukranian Airlines. Apparently they charges little more than $100 to add on cities like Dubai, Cairo, Tel Aviv, Beijing to ther initial fare to Kiev.
They also had some deals that were for the legacy carriers--business class seats to Europe have been slashed on majors, for Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks (limited date window). Tell the family you can have turkey anytime and wrap the tickets for gifts!
Costa Rica out of Chicago--less than $300 RT.
It's a fun website to play with--they have an anytime feature that brings all sorts of goodies.
Has anyone heard of it or used it?

Re: Unusual WebAir
Hi Kyshel, thanks for this tip. I tried out the website last week and found some interesting deals. Just now stumbled on an article mentioning this website and another new one: http://www.cfares.com/
http://www.smartertravel.com/travel-...tml?id=2434407
Just for fun, I entered the same muti-city trip to Europe into both Vayama and cFares. cFares came back with a better price. Of course it's worth checking both since results can vary. By comparison, Expedia came back with no results, saying no flights matched my search. So, good to have some alternatives!

Re: Unusual WebAir
keep in mind that some search engines are owned in part by airlines and they may not give you any info on their competitors. one of the reasons we have this forum--to keep up with cfares, vayama, smartravel etc. the list goes on!! thanks for the NEW tip!

Re: Unusual WebAir
I just checked out vayama.com and the site looks pretty good. The airfare from Budapest to Munich is approximately $218.00... on Luftansa and within the normal price range. I'm going to have my daughter give it a try and I'll report back how it goes. Thanks for the info!
