I didn't realise you were going to Guana Island. What a coincidence...I have just posted on the Worldwide thread asking about Guana Island. I just came across it last night by chance and I was so taken with it. It looks just my kind of place. I really like the sound of those deserted private beaches, infact the whole place just sounds so perfect. I don't know how easy it will be to get to from the UK though?

I posted a reply to your message about Guana Island on the other board. I was looking at a number of possibilities, and actually bid on another property a couple of weeks ago. That was the first time I was not successful with an auction bid on LL (it was a best shot). I took it as a sign that something better was about to be posted - and then Guana Island appeared. It would probably take a couple of connections, but I think you could get there!

Hi All - Do tell more about Ghana island ... I do not know of this island. Bonneyjoy your travel itinerary sounds like ours - Washington DC,Arizona, BVI's, Italy so far We are looking at possible Canada or Sonoma , or pacific Northwest to round out our 2007 LL has contributed to what was already a travel addiction. I'm a gonner now afterLL!!!My family wants us to meet in Virginia this summer as well - I've seen a couple LL properties that would extend a Virginia trip nicely. Luckily I'm not working at the moment (taking care of things in AZ) and my husband has decided to take early retirement as of April. WOW big changes in store for us. Enjoy reading the posts and getting to know LL community better...as always ...Funtimes

I don't know where you're planning on going in Virginia, but you might want to take a look at The Homestead. It's a mountain resort and one of my favorite places. It's a great spot for a family reunion, with lots to do for all age groups.

Also, from visiting the BVIs in the past, we have an idea about the general area. Our trip is not planned until November, but I'll certainly report back with some first-hand information.

Hello Fred Bonney and Disneygal Thanks for the info We are leaning toward Canada now fortunately the dollar is still ok there and how can you beat the scenery??? Bonney - we leave Friday for AZ will you be in Tuscon area?
