User Feed Back System
What do you think about a feed back rating system on all LL Auctionsby LL members whohave purchasedand utilized an Auction or Best Buytrip or merchandise from LuxeLife? This system is in place at eBay and provides input for potential buyers.

Hi O,
I think that any user feedback system on any website is one of the most important features. I read each one very carefully before doing a transaction on Ebay. Even more important is to leave your feedback for the future users to evaluate. On LL I think just hearing other peoples experiences at the specific resorts is extremely useful and necessary before booking a trip or purchasing a LuxeLife product. This information is always useful (if submitted honestly of course) !

7...I think access to user feedback has become an additional tool for accountability for more and more service providers and sellers of consumer goods. I am a strong proponent of doing as much research as possible before buying or subscribing to any service and the Internet has really provided more transparency for consumers. I bought my last vehicle over the Internet and the seller shipped almost 1,200 miles....my final decision was based on information I developed from other buyers who haddone prior business with the dealer. As for vacation travel, I don't read printed brochures (propaganda) produced by the destination....I would prefer to depend on the observations available from actual visitors.enewseven wrote:

i think the user feedback would be a great way to find out whether the deal is a good one and get some information about what to see and do and where to eat in the area. Also it would give some useful information such as you need a car if you stay here or you can do it by train. etc. I have won quite a few and would be willing to give my impression.

daldoc....do you use www.tripadvisor.com as an information resource? We have used this site for several years and find many of the reviews helpful (like so many opinions, some times you must take the information with a grain of salt). We enjoy comparing notes that others have posted....using the ones we like and simply discarding the remaining.daldoc wrote:

Hi O,
I think the feed back idea is a good one. On the other hand, I just had two wonderful replies to my post on one of the hotels I am going to visit next March. It is very reassuring to get personal feedback from someone who has been there. Yes, I read the TripAdvisor, but as you had mentioned somewhere before, you wonder sometimes if some of the people had been to the same place you so loved and they hated.... I did appreciate the two personal feedback notes I got and they reassured me that I picked a great place.

lhb...We use personal feed back as one component of selecting a property. Of course, I'm admited a bit **bleep**, so I tend to build a matrix of information before we makea final decision. Being totally selfish, and using it as another tool for developing information, I would like to see a Feed Back System on LL (with some type of gatekeeping guards, that only permit actual LL prior purchasers to "rate" or give "feed back").lhbrown wrote:

Hi O,
Feed Back System on LL (with some type of gatekeeping guards) that only permit actual LL prior purchasers to "rate" or give "feed back". I think you hit the nail right on the head. The value would be in feedback from actual LL users who have been there.
