Re: vacations which are not won
desertfx.....welcome to our community......we look forward to your participation.....even though several of us have engaged in (observing, bidding and buying) Luxury Link auctions for some time....we don't necessarily understand all of the behind the scenes machinations of the web site.
If you choose to stay around for a while, you will likely see a number of the same packages offered in future auctions....unless, of course, it happens to be a time sensitive package (i.e. a bargetrip departing on a specific date).
Otherpackages mayor may not reappear after a few offerings....on the other hand, some destinations have been available for several years (must be working out for all parties involved in the contractual arrangements).
I can tell you from personal experiences....if you seesomething you like and the price seems fair...you might want to jump on it.....I have missed out on a couple of very nice packages (just because of procrastinating) and they have never reappeared.
Another matter regarding procrastination.....sometimes, after a package isinitially offered and sold...if the package is offered again at some future time, theminimum bid price will be increased....not always, but sometimes.
To my knowledge, packages are never discarded nor discounted below the minimum bid prices.
One exceptional opportunity does exist for those willing to take a slight risk of the unknown....the Mystery Auctions.....some of these can be bought for very, very low prices (I have benefited from Mystery Auctions low bids more than once).
Good bidding andsafe travels
