I see the Vintner's Inn is once again offering a package on LL. We stayed there about three years ago. I originally saw the hotel on LL, but didn't bid on the package. A few months later, we decided to do a wine tour, so I contacted the hotel and booked a room for four nights. We booked a basic room on the ground floor. The hotel is in Santa Rosa and overlooks a vineyard. The hotel consists of several buildings which are built around a beautiful courtyard. The ground floor rooms have a patio. I believe the hotel is two stories with the second floor rooms having a very small balcony that you can stand on. When we walked into our room, you entered through a small hallway with the bathroom branching off to the left. The bathroom was very nice with a large sink area and closet which was separate from the tub and shower area. This way one could take a shower and the other could could fix his or her hair or put on makeup or get dressed. The bedroom area had, I believe a kingsize bed, a table and chairs and tv area. There was a stained glass window. There was a french door which went out to the patio area where there was another table and chairs which overlooked the vineyard. They gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and some snacks. The breakfast offered was awesome. It was one of the nicest breakfasts we have been offered. They had a cold buffet and you could order hot items from the menu. The breakfast area overlooked the courtyard with its beautiful fountain. There was a separate building which I believe contained a pool. We did not use the pool area. The restaurant was a short walk away and at the time was run by John Ash. The dinner was delicious with an extensive wine menu. The hotel was a pleasant drive to other area restaurants, including the Girl and the Fig, which has now changed its name, but still contains the word fig. We drove to many of the wineries and went to the redwood forest and some of the small farms which produced cheese and organic foods. Anyone who wants to do a wine country tour should look at this package.

Re: Vintner's Inn Review
lippincottfarm. Thank you very much for the review of Vintner's Inn. How big is the property (how many rooms?) Would they help arrange wine touring? We have never done this region and really would like to consider it. Thanks for the update!

Its not a real big property. I want to say four or five buildings with two stories and maybe eight rooms per building. Maybe the hotel site gives the number of rooms. They will help with a wine tour. What we did was get a car from Hertz with the never-lost system, and a map of the area. Then we just drove. We really enjoyed the hotel and the area.
