I remember a similar problem at the Paris Charles De Gaulle airport some years back. I used to look out every time we were landing or taking off to see the rabbits scurry back and forth to their warrens. I guess they presented a problem for the air planes and so the airport authorities eradicated the rabbit problem. Now there are no more rabbits to be seen at the green fields near the runways anywhere, but I still look for them.....
