Re: What do you bring home from your overseas trips?
Something else that my wife and I frequently bring home from our trips are spices, cooking implements, and other culinary treats. I brought home some dried chipotle peppers and a lime juicer from our last trip to Mexico. From the Canary Islands, we brought home several jars of mojo sauce, the delicious and ubiquitous sauce that's served with boiled potatoes in almost every restaurant. We returned from Spain with bomba rice, saffron and smoked paprika for making paella and other dishes. Bringing home the ingredients to recreate some of the great meals we had on our trip brings back great memories.

I take it "tart" doesn't quite have the same connotations over there as it does this side of the pond. Think if i did that, could cause an early divorce.thepiranha wrote:

I'm not sure what "tart" means on your side of the Atlantic, but it means a provocatively dressed and possibly promiscuous woman over here.
