peter greenberg is a great source for travel tips. so knowledgeable, so helpful. for example, if you want to go to hawaii, he recommends pleasant holidays: they're on the hook for lots of inventory so they have to get rid of seats, rooms, rental cars, etc.

michael_choe_ll, did you happen to notice TabletHotels.com is now offering $25 CASH for a referral who books. Not a certificate, but CASH. Sounds like the game is warming up and could be another challenge for vacationist.com

Re: What Is The New LuxuryLink Website?
Wecheck FamilyGetaway.com and Vacationist.com frequently, search around to see what is available, thenwe come backto www.LuxuryLink.com to do ourtravel shopping.
Idon't know if we will ever change ourshopping habits.
I guess, over time, new people arrivingthrough a Vacationist.com or FamilyGetaway.com entry will tend to be partial to their original site that brought them in.
Anyone here in the community buy from Vacationist.com yet?- Ω -

I am still looking at Vacationist.com daily. Actually some pretty nice properties and the prices are deeply discounted. Haven't made a purchase yet. But I'm still looking.
Right now, there is a better chance of me buying a couple of days from Vacationist.com than buying an extended package out of the country with LuxuryLink.com.

Re: $100 Bonus - New LuxuryLink Website?
I far prefer the deals on Luxury Link. They include lots of amenities (massages, dinner, free parking, etc.) that aren't part of the Vacationist packages. Also, the Luxury Link packages are more enticing because I can use my gift certificates for purchases.

I agree with thepiranha. I like the extras in the LL packages and our VIP gift certificates are certainly a welcome discount on the packages. Had trouble getting into Vacationst., I Had to reset password, etc. Once I got into the site, I saw some interesting offers and found the site worth checking for future references.

Re: $100 Bonus - New LuxuryLink Website?
So, it would appear Luxury Link is doing the right things by offering various options. Some people want to wait and maximize their VIP Certificates and loading up on extras, while other are content to secure a hotel stay for afew nights without the extras and pay less. Actually there are a number of new auction offerings right here on Luxury Link that are very reasonable and do not have all of the extras.
