What Perks Are Most important?
When you are considering the purchase of a Luxury Link package, beyond location and price, what are the most important perks that influence you decision?
- Daily Breakfasts
- Complimentary Internet Access
- Complimentary (or reduced rate) airport transfers
- Upgraded accommodations (suite, etc.)
- Arrival Amenities (wine, cheese, fruit, etc.)
- Unlimited Mini-Bar
- Complimentary dinners
- Spa Treatments
- Escorted Tours
- Early Check-In & Late Check-Out
- Credit Voucher (use on whatever at hotel)
- Inclusion of Taxes & Service Charges
Or maybe there is something else you would like to see the Sales Team at Luxury Link attempt to have included.Last edited by omegaet; 04-23-2012 at 01:04 PM. Reason: spelling

I agree that taxes/service should be included. I didn't see that above--I would have voted for that, as well.
I like having at least one dinner, if the hotel is somewhat "remote". Arrival amenities are nice but not a breaker for us.
Spa access is good, but treatments are better! I seldom choose a package for the escorted tours, UNLESS on safari--then they are a MUST."wherever you go, there you are"

I'm no help at all because I voted for all of the choices! I would say that complimentary or reduced rate airport transfers would be at the bottom of my list since we may arrive by car, train, bus or some other method. My second least favorite would be the unlimited mini-bar. Early check-in and late check-out aren't high on my list of priorities. I've found that most hotels permit an extra hour or two to check out after the official check out time. I showed up at a hotel in Portland, OR, last week at 9:00 a.m. Official check-in time was 3:00 p.m., but they let me go to the room right away without any advance notice. Daily breakfasts are great, except when you're in a city that has amazing food and you'd prefer to get something small while you're out so you can go wild at lunch and/or dinner time. While I enjoy breakfast, it's far behind lunch and dinner as my favorite meals. A credit voucher is probably the best perk since it can be used for any of the above items.

Definitely taxes, services, and resort fees. That is the most important. I picked about 4 perks. I also love the breakfast. The credit voucher seems to work the best for us. Sometimes we just want appetizers and drinks vs. a grand meal. Great poll....hopefully LL will continue these great perks......

04-24-2012, 05:26 AMTaxes & service fees are important, especially in most foreign countries. Transportation can also be important, especially abroad, where I am not all that keen on rental cars and driving. Breakfast is critical, since I don;t care about venturing outside my hotel for the first meal of the day.
Spa services are always a plus for me. Tours, maybe, depending on the destination.
Least important is mini-bar, since I never open them, free/unlimited or not.
As for me, the basic room only packages offered by Luxury Link, really hold not interest.
If anyone at the Luxury Link headquarters is reading our responses, take note and pass along the information.

I always look for taxes and fees included, complimentary transfers is always nice, I always look for breakfast included, a dinner here or there is nice but not critical, spa services are nice but not critical

04-25-2012, 05:33 AMJust an after thought regarding perks, the VIP Certificates remain as the top incentives for my continued interest in participating in the community as well as willingness to sort through all of the travel possibilities here at Luxury Link.

04-28-2012, 11:39 PMI agree jsattapr2! It's nice to be rewarded. I've learned a lot from LL and the other community members about destinations as well as participating hotels--it's taken a lot of the guesswork out of where to stay. LL destinations have been very reliable for me over the past few years.

All the perks are welcome whenever we can get them. However, I agree with ngallag and jsattapr2 the best perk is our LL quarterly certificate which keeps us coming back to LL time and again.
