Anyone get some holiday treats? or gifts?
I got Kapama Karula, South Africa, 3 nt safari. It's good thru next Nov, so I certainly have time to plan. Thinking about adding Victoria Falls and some bookends in Joburg to connect the dots. There were some outstanding deals for Cape Town but it's too far south to combine.
I got a bunch. Bought Hotel Posta, at Emilio Reggio for 3 nights with 30% off. Didn't even need to use my LL Gift Certificate it was so low. Got 5 nights in Ischia at the Albergo Saint Montana for a song and dance. I am trying to get Mezzatore for 3 nights so we will have 8 nights on the Island of Ischia. Also am trying to get 5 nights at the Albano Grand Hotel in Padua to combine with Emilio Reggio for an 8 night trip to Northern Italy.
Would like to get the Westin Palace or the Ritz Hotel in Madrid but the dates are all wrong for us. We need specific dates of Oct. 15-18, and so far they end in August and September of 2012. I am waiting to see if either of the two Madrid hotels will extend the dates into October 2012. Too bad I won't be able to use the extra 10% of the LLCYBER10 promo on these.
The Abano Grand had an exceptional write-up at tripadvisor a little while back I am still really interested in going there to take in the town and the spa.
I will try to find the write-up on Tripadvisor. With the extra 10% from LLCYBER10 and a VIP Gift Certificate it's a real good deal. Furthermore, the property lies in a nice triangle of Padua, Emilio Reggio and Bologne. Lots of history there. Also Venice, Verona and Modena are not very far away.
