......was a bit of an eye-opener! Never really considered all of the issues involved in consolidation...a bit more than repainting the aircraft, changing signs and uniforms and doing business as usual!

I thought there was a law against monopolies in this country - I guess the anti-trust laws are going by the way side

All of these mergers were approved regarding anti-trust laws before they could begin the process. I follow the aviation industry in the US closely.
