Wizz Airlines
Hi...
Has anyone flown on Wizz Airlines? I've just booked a ticket for my student daughter and her friendgoing from Stockholm to Budapest on September 1st. The fair was insanely cheap.. US$ 105.00 for the two of them one way. I'm just wondering is this airline is legitimate, orwill my daughter show up at theStockholm airport andfind out the airline doesn't exist, or have lots of problems?
Thanks for any feedback.

Re: Wizz Airlines
All I can tell you is that they DO have aircraft! I saw 2 on the tarmac at Ferengy airport, Budapest last week. One was prop jet. As I recall, they were green? Can't help you more than that. That's a great price! Hope they have a great time in Budapest--I look forward to going back next month.
My sister recently booked 2 seats on some US LCC Orlando to Providence RI for $80 one way. Just amazing..."wherever you go, there you are"

Hi there, I live in London and have used Wizzair twice to go to Budapest (most recently in late May 2007). They are definitely legit and I've found them to be equal to or better than some of the UK based low cost carriers. You'll have to pay for food and beverages on board, but as flights within Europe are usually short this shouldn't be an issue if you plan accordingly. Hope this helps. (ps. their colours are bright pink and purple!)
