I read this article in the United Airlines Hemispheres Magazine on a recent flight back East. The lodge looks absolutely gorgeous and the fact that they have to transport it 116 miles in a day is unbelievable. I'd love to see the preparation that's involved in the move as well as the move itself.

The King Pacific Lodge is actually a Luxury Link property but there aren't any packages available at this time.

I was eyeing the hotel on Luxury Link a couple of years ago before my family's trip to Alaska, but it didn't work out. I had no idea that the hotel was migratory.
