WORST AIRLINE IDEA EVER?
I just read an interesting article about Ryanair, Europe's low cost, no frills airline. They charges 40 euros to issue a boarding pass at the airport. The CEO of Ryanair has threatened to increase that fee to 100 euros. Their ultimate goal is to eliminate check-in desks and check-in personnel, so they're charging an exhorbitant fee to encourage people to print their boarding passes prior to arriving at the airport. Ryanair is the same airline that recently threatened to add fees for the use of the lavatories on their flights.
Any thoughts about this?

Re: WORST AIRLINE IDEA EVER?
My thoughts...just raise the price of a ticket!!! It has become so hard to keep track of the fees plus the airline personnel on the front line have to act as the bad guys..its not their fault but they receive the negative comments........I miss the old days of flying.
Have to say LanChile was wonderful. 1st..flight delays and they rebooked us immediately to leave earlier! 2nd...free drinks! I asked for wine and they told me I had to wait? Wondered why and they said they needed to bring out actual glass small wine cups..how fancy! 3rd...free entertainment! Wow....
