You never know what will be found on a plane

I heard on the news today that they found a stun gun in one of the seat pockets on a Jet Blue plane - makes you wonder how that got through security! Maybe some irate parent going on vacation with a couple of kids got upset at the baggage fees and then discovered they had to pay for food on board or maybe an air marshal just forgot it or maybe they hid it their for the flight attendants to control unruly passengers ;-)

maybe they planned to pick off stray terrapins--after all it was Jet Blue pilot who first reported the little darlings going across the runway...like a herd of turtles....

all joking aside - how did this manage to get on the plane -could you imagine some bad guy starting to stun crew and passengers!

We recently returned from Jackson Hole, WY airport, and we were amazed at how many "Bear Spray" containers were taken from passengers. True, there were some bear attacks at Yellowstone Park, but did they expect to encounter a Bear on our United flight back to New York???

these are really just stupid people who don't have a clue that the bear spray workss like MACE--yeah, TSA may not be the best but they really do know what bear spray does to immoblize a large mammal.
