Your favorite LL hotels and/or packages
This past weekend I was reviewing all the trips we have done through LL and my husband and I were debating which hotels and/or packages we liked the best and came up with these:
Our very 1st LL package - Blancaneaux Lodge in Belixe - loved this hotel and when it was on LL it was such a great deal
Miraflores Park in Lima and the Monasterio in Cuzco - did this package 2x and loved both the package and the hotels - it is a shame we could not add the MP Sanctuary Lodge to this since both times due to the unpredictable Peruvian weather & transportation system we did not get to stay here even though it was part of the package
Lumina Luxury Suites in Mexico City - one of our all time favorite hotels. We combined this with the Mesones Sacristia in Puebla, Mexico - loved the package and the cooking classes but the hotel could have been better
Xandari Resort & Spa in Costa Rica - another great package & hotel
Tortuga Lodge in Costa Rica - not a 5 star luxury hotel but great service & a great location
Laguna Eco Lodge at Lake Atitlan, Guatemala - loved the hotel location and decor and the package was a great deal - was not crazy about the food menu but there were plenty of other places to dine
I suspect I will add the Nicaragua packages & hotels to this list after our LL trip and maybe the Cuna del Angel in Costa Rica - all look like promising additions to our list.
There are also a few hotels we loved but did not do through LL but have to add them anyway - Lodge at Uxmal in Yucatan, Mexico
Sandoval Lake Lodge in the Peruvian AmazonRoam if you want to, roam around the world...........

Great discussion-starter, dhdanner! You have a flair for Latin America, one of my favorite destinations as well. In Costa Rica, take a look at Rancho Pacifico in Uvita - gorgeous hillside villas in a non-touristy part of the country: Rancho Pacifico in Uvita, Costa Rica - Travel Inn Deals | Luxury Link

Hands down. Mateya Safari Lodge--UNEQUALED! It was the BEST LL pkg we've even bought. I can add a few others--Westcliff South Africa and Royal Pita Maha (our second stay will be in 2 wks
YAY!!) as SUPERB!!"wherever you go, there you are"

Denise, we've decided we can't answer this question.
Too many great properties and too many fabulous experiences with Luxury Link.
Most have been different but all have been excellent and a few were over the top.- Ω -

So, we discussed the list of Luxury Link properties we've enjoyed and we've decided, given all aspects of the hotel and the experiences, we would vote for Titlaka Lodge, situated on Lake Titicaca:
Titilaka Lodge - Boutique Experience Lodge on Lake Titicaca, Peru - Titilaka Hotel
This was not only a fabulous experience, but it happened to be a Mystery Auction and we were able to buy it at a very, very special price (no one else seemed to want to venture up into the Andes).- Ω -

We have bought so many by now, and we have enjoyed every one of them. Still love the Topnotch Resort and Spa in Stowe, Vermont and would return to it in no time flat.
