My family went to both cities (Mai and Rai) this past spring. They can recommend a great driver/guide if you'd like. Sister found him on tripadvisor.com--his name is Germsak; they said he was excellent

Those are beautiful properties! So many fabulous places at every price range in Thailand. I'd always like to see that sort of hotel/resort sold on LL--thanks!
